I now have all the tools I need to start recording voice demos; now all I need is a quiet house to do it (easier said than done). This has been a long time coming. Lord willing, it begins happening in 2012.
sounds like it might be easier than recording -- I and some others had the same issues once, we tried to shut out the neighbor noise by egg cartons, rockwool, and eventually lead lining, which got housemates worrying about lead poisoning :-)
